Our experience covers a wide variety of projects in both the public, private and corporate sector from high value regeneration and refurbishment contracts in the sensitive areas of social housing and estate transfers.

In the Public Sector

In the past twenty years the practice has provided a range of consultancy services. Our clients have included local authorities and/or registered social landlords. We have worked in consortiums and as lead consultants in over thirty major multi-phased regeneration projects under various funding regimes such as:

In the Private & Corporate Sector some examples of projects are:

St. Joseph’s Church – Highgate Hill

Working with English Heritage we have been involved in a range of conservation and renovation works to this Grade II* Listed Romanesque church. We have played an important role in advising the Passionist Order of St. Joseph about sources of grants and allowances. The advice includes the preparation of applications to the Historic Churches Committee for consents and to Heritage Lottery and other sources for funding.

Dun na Sead Castle in West Cork

The project management of the sensitive and specialist reconstruction of this historic building has been an interesting challenge. It has required the careful step by step monitoring of the work in accordance with the consents granted by DUCHAS, (the Heritage Service) and the brief set by designers and specialist consultants.

BBC Facilities – London and Birmingham

The BBC’s £40M bi-media complex at the Mailbox in Birmingham and the final extension to the Television Centre as well as several fitting out contracts in London. The contracts required working to tight deadlines accommodating specialist sound and acoustic elements and responding to the ever-evolving requirements of a dynamic organisation.

Heritage Lottery Fund

To date we have provided a project monitoring and assessment service for a number of projects including the Women’s Library in Aldgate, the specialist gallery for the Dover Bronze Age Boat and the Banbury Museum as well as being responsible for the option appraisal for the successful funding application for St. Martin in the Fields.
